Standard 3
III. Model digital age work and learning
Teachers exhibit knowledge, skills, and work processes representative of an innovative professional in a global and digital society.
a. Demonstrate fluency in technology systems and the transfer of current knowledge to new technologies and situations
b. Collaborate with students, peers, parents, and community members using digital tools and resources to support student success
c. Communicate relevant information and ideas effectively to students, parents, and peers using a variety of digital age media and formats
d. Model and facilitate effective use of current and emerging digital tools to locate, analyze, evaluate, and use information resources to support research and learning
Reflections: It seems like this standard is representative of technology usage in the classroom. This could be from the teacher presenting information in a lesson or students presenting assignments in different manners. I liked how the scoop.it project could be shared among students, parents, or even other teachers. I had never heard of this site before and really liked using it. I felt like the podcast and video also fell under this standard. It could be used for a new way for students to present assignments or for me to catch students up if they missed a class.

Future Learning Goal: I plan on implementing all three of these projects into my curriculum. I like having alternatives to a test as a way to view student achievement. I also like how I can use scoop.it to present info to a select group of students when I have more than one class to teach in a classroom.
